Tyler Nickerson, Founder
Sorted: Vintage Truck and Tractor was founded by Tyler Nickerson in 2024. As a vintage truck and tractor collector himself, he started Sorted to support those collectors with unique needs not serviced in the broader classic car marketplace, build a community around vintage trucks and tractors, and further a marketplace for these important pieces of our global history. He has a passion for the vehicles that have traversed all parts of the earth, carried critical supplies to remote locations, and keep our planet fed was shared by others.
Tyler’s passion for vintage trucks started with his dad’s new 1989 Toyota Pickup in Dark Blue. He rode on the neighbor’s tractor and always talked to firefighters about their trucks. He collected Hot Wheels and then a big garage of digital cars on Gran Tourismo and Need for Speed. After a career in philanthropy and banking, he decided it was time to connect more deeply with his automotive passion. Having purchased and sold his own vintage trucks and tractors, he brought together his finance and automotive experience, along with an excellent team of researchers and mechanics, to launch Sorted.
